First winner of Guinness promotion tours Appolonia City
The first winner of the Guinness “Win a Piece of Ghana” promotion has visited Appolonia City to view the location of his prize. Mr. Alban Maali, who hails from Lawra in the Upper West Region did so after a presentation event held at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited offices in Accra.
Alban could not contain his excitement during the tour, “This is beyond my wildest imagination. To own land in a prestigious place like Appolonia City for free is just wild, this is real,” he said.
Dansoaa Siaw-Misa, Sales Manager of Appolonia City said, “being able to own a piece of Ghana is everyone’s dream and it’s heartwarming to see this come true. One of the best rewards you can give anybody is land and the fact that it’s not just any land but one within a planned city makes it even better.”
The #MyPieceOfGhana promo, which was launched on 1 March 2018, is a partnership between Guinness and Appolonia City to celebrate Ghana’s 61 years of independence. As part of the promo, 16 loyal Guinness drinkers with will win free plot of land at Appolonia City over a period of 16 weeks.
Apart from land, the promo, which is expected to run until 30th June 2018, also offers Guinness consumers an opportunity to win millions of instant prizes including airtime and data.
