Appolonia City, 2 November 2022 – Appolonia City’s Adumuah Place won the best commercial office development award at the sixth annual Africa Property Investment (API) awards in Johannesburg, South Africa.
API’s peer-to-peer awards were established to recognize and promote excellence in Africa’s real estate market.
Adumuah Place is Appolonia City’s first commercial building with prime office spaces, as well as retail space for banks, convenience shops, supermarkets and pharmacies. The three-story grade-A commercial building represents a USD 4 million investment.
Born out of a strategic partnership between Rendeavour, Appolonia City’s developer, and Gateway Real Estate Africa (GREA), a Mauritius-based private real estate development company, Adumuah Place winning the award is a recognition of the collective effort from every team member.
“Receiving this recognition on a global platform is truly humbling,” said Greg Pearson, CEO and co-founder of GREA. “Ultimately, the winners are the communities and economies we serve as we continue to develop sustainable real estate that goes beyond physical assets. ”
Bright Owusu-Amofah, CEO of Appolonia City, described the award as an endorsement of the company’s |uncompromising culture of excellence that has brought the dream of Appolonia City to reality.”
Appolonia City is a development by Rendeavour, Africa’s largest urban land developer with over 12,000 hectares (30,000 acres) of visionary projects in the growth trajectories of large cities in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rendeavour develops in partnership with the chiefs, elders and residents of the Appolonia community.
